Who does a family ticket cover? 2 adults and up to three children under 16. Under 5s have free entry.
Can we pay on the gate? No. Tickets must be purchased online in advance. Please note there is a capacity limit and tickets have sold out early for the last two years. To avoid disappointment, buy your tickets early.
What time does the show start?
The schedule is typically as follows:
6pm Gates open – food and drink on sale, music through the PA, children’s rides, sparkler zone
6.30pm – Guy parade, lighting of the bonfire, mini display
7.15pm – Main Fireworks display
7.45pm – Music through the PA
8.30pm – Close
Is there parking? Please note, to comply with health and safety regulations, we are unable to offer on-site parking. There is limited free car parking in Tring Town Centre or you can purchase a space in advance (subject to availability) at Tring School just a short walk from the venue. If you live in Tring we would urge you to walk to the event if you can.
Can we bring sparklers into the ground?
No. Please don’t do this. Waving sparklers around in the dark can be dangerous and used sparklers left on the ground are a real hazard for the sports club members who use the facility the next day. Instead please come to our specially created Sparkler Zone, where sparklers can be purchased at a reasonable price and enjoyed in a safe environment.
Will there be food and drink available? Yes, a good selection of food and a range of hot and cold beverages will be on sale from high quality partners that we have come to know over the past few years.
Where does the money go that is raised by the event? The event is planned and run entirely by volunteers. Every penny raised goes to sustain the pavilion and grounds which serve not only cricket, but hockey, tennis, lacrosse, running, youth football and host of other fitness related activities.
What happens if it rains? The show goes on!
Is there any risk the event might be cancelled?
Only in a) the most extreme weather conditions, or b) due to new government restrictions on outdoor gatherings due to Covid-19.
Should a cancellation be necessary, all tickets purchased would be valid for the following year.
Can I get a refund if I can’t come to the event?
No refunds are offered on tickets purchased online. Only in the most extreme weather conditions OR because the government re-introduces restrictions on public gathering relating to the Covid-19, might the event be cancelled. Should a cancellation happen, all tickets purchased online would be valid for the following year.
